No offense but that is just lame. No one has said any of that crap. Remember, you are now in the drone regions dealing with entirely different entities in an entirely different scenario. Yes, you are defending once again but this time you are on the side with more alliances and more bodies.
What is going on here is simple math. Anti-Smashkill forces in the area cannot be allowed to have yet another group to join the bandwagon so action is being taken. Win-lose or draw, it had to be attempted.
Spare us the self induced drama.

We are technically all dead because we got kicked from our original homes during the old school campaigns down south. Being dead just sticks well with our troops
When fix and friends joined the picture and agreed to participate in the drone regions it probably was the last thing anyone expected. Considering that fix and 99.99% of the entities involved would have said there is no way in hell we would fly side by side with each other.
I think what you are seeing in the drone lands right now is something like a ticking time bomb. A battle of epic proportions is brewing and everyone involved will have fun regardless of who wins and loses. Lots of old school peeps coming back to pew pew and lots of expensive ships going to be lost.
Its time to take it to the next level. Great thing is no-one expected Fix/Smashkill and friends to work well together. the time has come and the time is now...

See, we didn't consider anything about FIX, VI and Legio other than, Smashkill friendly, can't be allowed to make a home. It did help you were enemies who had helped remove us from our space a year ago but it is far down the rung of "why".
You could have been BOB, AAA, TRI or anyone massively top notch scary ass PVP alliance it wouldn't have mattered. No one with any level of "authority" has said FIX was picked because they were easy, I still have no idea why you all keep saying that. We knew when we attacked 5K other people would be assisting against us.
We attacked because we can't afford another 1.5 K on the pile against us.
After reading this a couple of times i finally was able to understand your logic. ok sounds fair enough.
At least there is excitement in game and we have pew pew.
USN out!
